Please use the means below to reach Karimganj town

Option 1

Make a rail journey up to Guwahati   From there you can board any of the following trains to reach Badarpur railway junction. From Badarpur junction you can take small car, taxi, Buses, for Karimganj town. It will take 1 hour to reach Karimganj by road.

Note: If you opt for these trains you need to disembark at Badarpur Railway Junction, a township to Karimganj town. Take a bus or taxi to reach Karimganj which is around 60 mins away from the township.

Option 2

If you choose to travel to Karimganj Town directly, you can opt for any of the following trains.

Option 1 :

There are primarily two flights flying to Silchar, the nearest airport to Karimganj Town.

Available Flights –
Direction – Take a flight from Kolkata, Guwahati, Agartala or any part of the country to Silchar Kumbhirgram Airport. Board a hired taxi or similar to this and reach Silchar town from where you can reach Karimganj by Bus, taxi, Sumo or any such means of transport. Note: You can also hire a taxi from Silchar airport enroute to Karimganj town.

 

Option 2:

Fly to Agartala Airport and then take a train journey up to Karimganj railway junction. The rail trip may take 6-8 hours to reach the town.

A good number of Delux buses ply from Guwahati to Karimganj on a daily basis. You need to make sure you reach Guwahati, get yourself a bus ticket and you reach karimganj in 12-15 hours.
